I've already closed my ArtFire account. I think it was open for a week or less. The people were less than friendly. I guess I just didn't like the atmosphere. Oh well, back to Etsy for another round.

Which do you prefer?

Finally got my Artfire account up and running. What a sophisticated site. So many questions.
So I posted some things. Hoping to sell them.

I even added free shipping. Hope that draws a few people in.

New Ideas

Today I spent the whole day deciding I want to take up silversmithing. I've got most of the tools, I just need the materials and they can be costly. But it's something I want to do. I'm going to try and sell the things I have in order to raise some money for the things I need. Sounds good, now to put everything to the test.
I still haven't posted my things on Etsy, so I have to get to that pronto.

Before I get too old, this will be my new quest.

Changed to ebay

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to sell anything on my Etsy site, so I switched some of my things to ebay and they sold within 3 days. Amazing difference! Why? I think it's because the things I had to sell were supplies, books, bead making kit, etc. I'll try to keep my jewelry on Etsy but I think if it doesn't sell, I'll start an account on Artfire, and see how that goes.

When I opened my Etsy shop, I did fairly well, then it all went south. Maybe my prices were too LOW.
Just because the prices were low didn't mean the quality was!

This should be an interesting experiment.

Getting back on track

I think after almost a year's hiatus, it's time to get back to blogging.

I'm still attending Sacred Mists Wiccan College, and I'm enjoying it immensely; still haven't gotten the knack of the tarot, but I'm learning!!!

I finally put some things up for sale on Etsy, only books, but they're only five bucks and they're all brand new!! They're all books about jewelry making, so if anyone is interested check out PaganGypsy on Etsy.
Also, there's a drying gun, still in the box for only $12.50. Where are you going to find a bargain like that.
